Kingdom’s cruise line integrated for travel agents worldwide to access
Saudi Arabia’s Aroya Cruises has been integrated into the Cruisehost platform, meaning travel agents worldwide can now access, book and promote Aroya’s Mediterranean sailings.
The Saudi cruise line, which sailed its maiden voyage in December 2024, joins more than 50 cruise operators and 600-plus ocean, river and sailing vessels on Europe’s largest cruise platform.
This means Aroya itineraries, prices and availability can now be accessed by more than 10,000 travel agencies across 28 European countries, as well as by online travel agents (OTAs) worldwide.
With the Cruise API, OTAs can seamlessly integrate Aroya Cruises into their own booking processes, websites or apps in real time and with full control over content and processes.

“We are proud to be one of the first technology partners to fully integrate Aroya Cruises,” said Akhil Kapur, CEO & Founder of Cruisehost.
“This new cruise line represents modern cruise experiences with a strong regional character. For Cruisehost, this is a significant step toward greater diversity and market growth.”
Aroya Cruises puts Saudi on the map
Operated by Cruise Saudi, Aroya Cruises debuted with three- to seven-night cruises across the Red Sea in December 2024 and is currently sailing the Mediterranean with its first ship, also named Aroya, having expanded into the European market for summer 2025.
Those itineraries feature six- and seven-night sailings to ports in Türkiye and Greece, including Mykonos, Athens, Rhodes, Bodrum, Marmais, Kaş, and Alexandria, with Aroya homeporting in Istanbul until September.
With 19 decks, Aroya accommodates up to 3,362 passengers with 1,678 cabins, suites and villas, two swimming pools, 29 dining venues, a 1,018-seat theatre, a shopping souk, beauty salon, spa and dedicated kids’ zone with a splash area and water slides.
Following its Mediterranean sailings, Aroya will return to the Gulf, homeporting in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, for winter 2025-2026 where it will operate a second season of regional cruises.
While exact itineraries have not yet been published, Aroya is expected to operate 3- and 4-night Arabian Gulf sailings visiting ports in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Oman and Bahrain.
Cruise is a significant part of Saudi’s tourism agenda, with 10 destinations being developed by Cruise Saudi as it aims to attract 1.33 million passengers to the kingdom by 2037. Its first destination, Saba Beach on Jabal AlSabaya in the Red Sea, is already open, with a second island north of Jeddah under development.
More cruise lines are adding Middle East ports to their itineraries as cruise tourism in the region is on the rise and set to be further accelerated by Connections Cruise Arabia. The game-changing annual event, launching 18 September 2025, will bring together senior cruise leaders and stakeholders to shape the future of the sector in the region.
