All-inclusive property offers family villas, a kids’ club and live entertainment
Rixos Hotels has made its debut in Saudi Arabia with the opening of Rixos Obhur Jeddah, marking the brand’s seventh property in the Middle East and the first of three Ennismore properties set to open in the kingdom in 2025.
As Saudi’s first “true all-inclusive resort experience”, Rixos Obhur Jeddah lets guests enjoy dining, wellness, entertainment and children’s activities as part of their stay.
Located along the shores of Obhur Bay in Jeddah, the resort overlooks the Red Sea and offers direct access to a private beach and dedicated yacht marina facilities.
There are 250 accommodations, including 176 rooms and suites and 74 private villas, with the majority offering sweeping sea or pool views.
Villa guests benefit from enhanced privacy and direct access to the resort amenities, while all guests enjoy proximity to the beach, pools and marina.
The property includes three distinct dining venues, two lounges and three bars. In addition to international all-day dining destination Turquoise, there’s Orient, serving authentic Turkish cuisine, and Kapnos, a Greek-Mediterranean restaurant inspired by coastal flavours.
For a relaxed beachfront experience, guests can also dine at Âme Beach Club or visit The Hub, Jeddah’s first “exclusive” sports bar, which hosts live match screenings.
Facilities are extensive and include a private beach, two large pools and the Rixy Kids Club, which has six activity rooms, an outdoor yard and a private kids-only pool, and runs a tailored programme of activities to keep little ones occupied.
The Sports Club is equipped with a gym, outdoor studio, multipurpose court and padel court and offers daily classes, plus there’s a spa and array of water sports on offer.

Entertainment is a core part of the Rixos experience, and the Jeddah property hosts a dedicated stage for live performances, with signature dinner-and-show evenings available for both in-house guests and visitors.
Commenting on the opening, Mohammed Al-Khatib, General Manager of Rixos Obhur Jeddah, said: “This resort represents the heart of our brand philosophy, where every guest finds something special and where Saudi Arabia’s rich culture is celebrated through all-inclusive experiences.”
The opening of Rixos Obhur Jeddah comes at a time of rapid expansion in Saudi’s hospitality sector, with the total number of hotel rooms more than doubling in the past year.
Major international groups such as Hyatt, Rotana, and Accor are increasing their presence, with Accor alone planning to double its Saudi portfolio in the coming years. In 2025, Ennismore will open three properties including SLS Red Sea this year and more than 10 properties are expected to open on the Red Sea, as part of developments Shura Island and Amaala.
