Flights to Brussels and Bahrain will depart from Jeddah and Riyadh

Saudi Arabia's low-cost carrier Flynas has announced two new routes to Brussels in Belgium and Manama in Bahrain.

From 15 November 2023, Flynas will launch seven direct flights per week between Riyadh’s King Khalid International airport and Bahrain International airport.

The first direct flight from King Abdulaziz International airport in Jeddah to Brussels Airport will depart on 2 December 2023 and will operate three times a week.

Flynas CEO and managing director Bander Almohanna said: “With the addition of this new destination connecting Jeddah to the capital of Belgium, Flynas continues to strengthen its position as a leading low-cost airline and expand its growing network of destinations within our strategic partnership with the ACP [Air Connectivity Programme].”

ACP CEO Ali Rajab added: “Europe remains a pivotal market for Saudi Arabia. Building upon the successful launch of the Marseille-Jeddah route by Flynas last year, introducing this new route to Brussels is a significant step forward in our ongoing commitment to bolster air connectivity with Europe. We are eager to continue facilitating improved access for European travellers to the kingdom by collaborating with both local and international airlines.”

Moving forward, Flynas is set to launch more new routes. From 1 December 2023, it will launch two domestic flights within Saudi Arabia from Madinah to Abha and Tabuk. Internationally, five new routes will be operated from Madinah to Dubai, UAE; Amman, Jordan; Baghdad, Iraq, and Istanbul and Ankara, Turkiye.
