New luxury hotel The Maybourne Riviera now open in Côte d'Azur

The hotel and beach club is intended to be "the gem of the French Riviera"  

The Maybourne has opened its latest property on the Côte d'Azur, along with its newly opened beach club Maybourne La Plage

Part of the London-based Maybourne Hotel Group, the French property joins London icons including Claridge’s, The Connaught and The Berkeley, as well as The Maybourne Beverly Hills in Los Angeles. 

Set on a rocky peninsula high above the picturesque French town of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin on one of the most sought-after pieces of real estate in the South of France, The Maybourne Riviera offers panoramic views of the coastline that take in Italy to the west and Monte Carlo to the east.

The 66-key hotel's aerial and exterior architecture are designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte with all rooms and suites offering sea views from private terraces.

For a quick change of scenery guests of the hotel can avail exclusive access to the newly opened beach club Maybourne La Plage nearby, sitting right on the edge of the Cap Martin with direct view of the Mediterranean Sea.  

The stylish destination plays host to a an intimate restaurant with a seasonal menu by legendary chef Mauro Colagreco, where star dishes include linguine alle vongole, grilled lobster and octopus, and burrata.
