The Ritz-Carlton, Amman announces new sales and marketing director

Hasan Barakat brings more than two decades of experience in luxury hospitality

The Ritz-Carlton, Amman has appointed Hasan Barakat as the property’s new director of sales and marketing.

A hospitality industry veteran, Hasan Barakat holds dual British and Jordanian nationality and has led sales and marketing teams at properties across the Middle East and beyond. 

His previous roles have included overseeing the sales and marketing for multi-property hospitality groups, such as Qatar-based Katara Hospitality, the Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts’ regional operations based out of Saudi Arabia, and Hyatt Hotels & Resorts. At Hyatt, he led sales efforts for the group’s properties throughout Europe, with a particular focus on brand positioning and Middle Eastern markets.

Most recently, Barakat presided over the sales and marketing operations of the Fairmont Amman.
