The St. Regis Downtown, Dubai to open in October

The Renaissance Downtown will be reflagged to make way for a more elevated offering

Marriott has confirmed that St. Regis Downtown, Dubai will open in October 2021. Marriott’s existing Renaissance Downtown will be rebranded to offer guests a more elevated experience.

Speaking about the impending opening, Marriott International chief development officer, Europe, Middle East & Africa Jerome Briet said: “St. Regis delivers exquisite experiences and anticipatory service in some of the most desirable locations around the world. With this addition, the brand will arrive at one of the finest addresses in Downtown Dubai, which is home to the city’s most iconic landmarks. The St. Regis Downtown Dubai is set to offer unparalleled luxury, bespoke service and modern glamour for leisure and business travellers alike.” 

The transformation of the hotel is expected to include the addition of an Astor Ballroom, in line with the brand’s focus on hosting celebrations. The renovations will reflect the design and service hallmarks of St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, including the signature St. Regis Butler Service.

St. Regis Downtown, Dubai will be the 18th property in Marriott International’s UAE collection.
