UAE suspends entry of passengers from Vietnam

The entry ban is applicable to those who have been in Vietnam 14 days prior to their arrival in the UAE

The UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority and the National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management has announced that travellers from Vietnam will not be permitted to transit through the UAE

The entry ban is applicable to those who have been in Vietnam 14 days prior to their arrival in the UAE. However, passengers en route to Vietnam will be permitted to transit through the UAE.

Exempted from the ban are Emiratis and their first-degree relatives, diplomats and personnel working in the embassies of the two countries and holders of golden visas with prior approval obtained, and those who have been fully vaccinated with a World Health Organization-approved vaccine.

Exempted passengers must undergo a 10-day quarantine, take a PCR test on arrival, and repeat the test on the fourth and eighth day after arrival.
