UAE residents and citizens will still need to show proof of a booster shot along with a negative PCR test
Officials in the UAE have announced that, unlike residents and citizens, vaccinated tourists no longer need to show proof of a booster shot to enter Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi has implemented strict entry requirements during the pandemic, erecting a hard border between Dubai to allow for test and vaccination checks before allowing drivers to enter the emirate.

Abu Dhabi has clarified that all UAE citizens and residents wishing to enter the emirate must show proof of a booster shot to be considered fully vaccinated. A negative PCR test with a two-week validity is also required to maintain green status on the Al Hosn app. This is required to gain access to hotels, malls, gyms and other public places.
