Vietnam’s new must-visit Phu Quoc property by Regent Hotels

The new resort, Regent Phu Quoc, will open in spring 2022  

Regent Hotels & Resorts has announced a new opening on Vietnam’s Phu Quoc Island in spring 2022, marking the brand’s first new property since its acquisition by IHG in 2018.

Regent Phu Quoc will be home to 176 suites and 126 villas, set on a private beachfront in the resort of Long Beach with “sanctuary-like spaces” and floor-to-ceiling windows offering sunset views.

Dining options will span six restaurants, including Rice Market, serving traditional Vietnamese and Chinese dishes; Oku, a French-Japanese fusion restaurant; Bar Jade, an experimental cocktail bar, and Ocean Club, serving snacks by the beach.

The resort will also feature a spa, pools and a rooftop yoga pavilion

Children will be catered to with a kid’s club for four- to 12-year-olds.

Guests will also be encouraged to explore the surrounding island of Phu Quoc, from hikes in the mountains to visits to nearby fishing villages and pepper plantations.

Rooms rates start from US$360 per night, based on two sharing.
