Sarah Hedley Hymers joined Jacobs Media in 2021 as the Editorial Director of its Middle East flagship, Connecting Travel. She oversees all editorial content and hosts Connecting Travel’s thought leadership events.
The British broadcast journalist, author and editor began her career working on glossy lifestyle magazines in London. Over more than a decade in the Middle East, she specialised in travel and hospitality, creating content for television, radio, print and web.
For international news channel Euronews, she has produced and presented food and travel shows for an audience of more than 14 million. As a Destination Expert for The Telegraph, she has rated several of the world’s leading hotels while providing commentary on the region’s travel trends and markets.
Previously at Condé Nast Traveller Middle East, she launched the brand’s video platform, relaunched its website, moderated industry discussions and hosted events, including the Middle East’s inaugural Condé Nast Traveller travel film awards in association with the Dubai International Film Festival.
