GCC-based Sunset Hospitality expands lifestyle hotel brand to Spain

The new METT Hotel & Beach Resort Marbella Estepona will welcome guests in 2023

Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG) has announced  the expansion of its lifestyle hotel brand METT Hotels & Resorts to Marbella, Spain.

The METT Hotel & Beach Resort Marbella Estepona sits on the Costa del Sol and features 249 keys including 24 suites. 

An extensive refurbishment has started to upgrade the property to METT standards, and the property is scheduled to welcome guests in July 2023.

The five-star beachfront lifestyle property will focus on dining, entertainment and experiences to "bring people together to celebrate life", positioning the property as a social hub.

The hotel sits alongside a stretch of beach and, in addition to the main swimming pool, there are some private pools with cabanas. 

There will also be a state-of-the-art gym and a studio for group classes, as well as a spa.

Following the METT Hotel & Beach Resort Marbella opening in July 2023, SHG has several more properties in destinations around the world in its pipeline.
