Anthony Daniels leaves Hurtigruten

Sales and marketing vice president departs after nine years

Hurtigruten’s vice president of sales and marketing for the UK and EMEA Anthony Daniels has resigned after joining the company in 2015

Daniels has worked in the cruise industry for more than 30 years. As well as leading Hurtigruten’s commercial team across the UK and emerging markets, he previously held positions at Cunard, Norwegian Cruise Line, Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Seabourn.

James Howlett, sales manager for the UK, will take up the position on a temporary basis while the company recruits a permanent replacement.

“I’m incredibly proud of what we've achieved during my time at Hurtigruten,” Daniels said. “I have had the absolute pleasure of working with some of the best teams and wish them every success in the future. I now want to take time to work on my next projects and am excited to see what the future holds.”

Chief commercial officer Patrick Brewer added: “I'm very grateful to Anthony for all he has done for Hurtigruten in the UK and emerging markets over the many years. We wish him all the best for the future.”
