Cunard’s Queen Victoria cruises to resume from 5 June

Due to sail in April, five Queen Victoria cruises have been cancelled

Cunard’s Vista-class Queen Victoria was originally scheduled to resume sailings in April 2022 from Southampton, offering a variety of European itineraries, including short voyages to Amsterdam as well as longer Baltic Explorer, Iberia and British Isles routes.

Cunard announced the delayed return to service and the 2,000-passenger cruise ship is currently based in Barbados ahead of work in dry dock.

The delay has resulted in the cancelation of all sailings from 22 April to 24 May 2022 – a total of five sailings.

A company spokesperson said: “Ahead of her scheduled return to sailing, Queen Victoria is currently located in Barbados. She will be staying in the Caribbean for longer than planned before her dry-dock and will now return to full service on 5 June 2022 with her existing itineraries from this date.

“Guests booked on the affected cancelled voyages will be offered a full refund or future cruise credit worth 110% of the standard deposit terms, and 100% of any additional monies paid.”
