Middle East-based Cruise Master to relaunch cruise booking engine

Middle East-based Cruise Master to relaunch cruise booking engine

The announcement comes as the cruise agency celebrates its 15th anniversary

Cruise Master, the Middle East’s first specialist cruise agency, has announced growth plans as the company celebrates 15 years of operations in the region.

Cruise Master is the General Sales Agent (GSA) for Princess Cruises, Cunard Line and P&O Cruises in the Middle East and has partnerships with more than two dozen cruise lines.

The GSA plans to relaunch its cruise booking engine. As part of its commitment to bolstering the region’s cruise industry and providing agents with the necessary tools to book cruises, Cruise Master will provide trade partners with access to its cruise booking engine.

Cruise Master has also partnered with key airlines in the region to facilitate seamless integration between sea and air travel.

Founder and managing director, Ashok Kumar (pictured) said: “As we celebrate 15 years of Cruise Master, we are pleased to see the uptick in cruising as the world rebounds from the effects of the pandemic. We are seeing consumer demand in the region reach new heights and it’s the perfect time to relaunch our cruise booking engine, bringing customers their dream cruise at the click of a button.”

Kumar believes his company’s strength lies in having a team focused exclusively on cruise vacations. During the cruise agency’s 15-year-anniversary celebration, Kumar thanked the “cruise lines who have shown confidence in the services of Cruise Master" as well as "the travel agents who have given their loyal support over the years”.

Kumar added: “We look forward to playing an important role in the growth of the cruise industry in the Middle East. Each port of call offers a distinct experience, opening a world of possibilities for clients looking to traverse the seven seas on a cruise ship. First-time cruisers can choose from a cruise in Alaska, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean or Northern Europe in summer, or an exotic journey to the Far East, Japan or Australia. For mature travellers, there are ultra-luxury ocean-going small cruise ships sailing on the many famous rivers in the world. For adventure seekers, there are cruises to the top or the end of the earth.”

Cruise Master began trading in 2007, offering both customers and travel agents numerous cruise itineraries, destinations and experiences, and Cruise Master originally launched the first cruise booking engine in the Middle East, equipping trade partners with the ability to book online.
