P&O Cruises’ first escape room to debut on Arvia

The Immersive experience, called Mission Control, is set underwater on a fictional submarine called Arvia II

P&O Cruises has unveiled details about its first multi-sensory escape room due to debut on soon-to-launch ship, Arvia.

Called Mission Control, the immersive experience is set underwater on fictional submarine Arvia II and features a “series of challenging, mind-stimulating live-action puzzles”.

The escape room attraction will be suitable for all ages and have multiple storylines

P&O Cruises president Paul Ludlow said: “Holidays are all about new experiences and the escape room will create unforgettable action-packed moments with family and friends.

“Mission Control will expand our onboard entertainment offering even further, giving guests an opportunity to create unique bonding experiences they will talk about for years to come.”

Prices for the 14-night maiden cruise on 5,200-passenger Arvia, departing from Southampton, UK on 9 December 2022 lead in from US$1,946. Ports of call include Madeira, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Cadiz and Lisbon
