Raymond Blanc to join culinary-themed Scenic sailing

French chef to host cooking demo and book signing

Celebrated chef Raymond Blanc OBE will join a culinary-themed cruise with Scenic this autumn.

Blanc, whose restaurant Le Manoir aux Qat'Saisons has two Michelin stars, will sail on Scenic Diamond through the French countryside on the line’s eight-day Flavours of Bordeaux cruise departing on 10 October 2023.

Prices for the sailing which calls into Saint-Émilion, Libourne, Blaye, Médoc, and Cadillac start from US$3,590.

Blanc has trained more than 35 chefs, including Marco Pierre White and Michael Caines, whose restaurants have later won Michelin stars.

Blanc will lead a cooking demonstration and a Q&A session before a book signing event and dinner.

Passengers on Scenic Diamond can eat regional dishes as they sail along the Dordogne river. They can also cycle through the vineyards of Sauternes and travel through the Médoc wine route.
