The cruise line’s latest vessel, Silver Endeavour, will have four signature restaurants
Expedition ships aren't generally focused on their culinary offering, but ultra-luxury cruise line Silversea Cruises aims to maintain its premium F&B service while taking passengers on expeditions.
Set to welcome guests in Antarctica from 21 November 2022, and billed as the world’s most luxurious expedition vessel, Silver Endeavour will offer discerning guests some of the finest dining experiences at sea and the luxury of choice even when cruising in the world’s most remote regions, including the Arctic.
Silversea Cruises chief commercial officer Barbara Muckermann said: “A trademark of the Silversea experience, our guests will enjoy the luxury of choice while travelling to the world’s most remote regions aboard Silver Endeavour. Travellers will be able to sample fine international fare of the highest quality in our four signature restaurants, while admiring the icy landscapes of Antarctica and the Arctic from the comfort of the ship’s spacious interiors."
Serving the industry’s finest gourmet cuisine, as well as a broad-ranging selection of complimentary premium Champagne, wine and spirits, Silver Endeavour’s restaurants will be among the most spacious and elegant venues in ultra-luxury expedition cruising.
She will offer her 200 guests almost 300 seats for dinner each night, as well as the option of dining in the privacy of their suites 24 hours a day hour, with an extensive room service menu, from casual fare to more indulgent options, including sustainable caviar and Champagne.
"The exceptional culinary offering aboard Silver Endeavour helps to discern the ship as the most luxurious expedition vessel in the world,” added Muckermann.
Here's an overview of Silver Endeavour’s dining venues:
Silver Endeavour’s main restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and can seat up to 192 guests.
Meaning ‘little terrace’, in homage to Silversea’s famed La Terrazza restaurant, this new concept is a nod to the cruise line’s Italian heritage. The restaurant serves authentic Italian cuisine a la carte, and can host up to 36 guests in an upscale, intimate setting.
Silversea’s signature French restaurant, La Dame, offers fine French cuisine. Guests can enjoy an a la carte menu or opt for a six-course tasting menu with a wine pairing. Open for dinner, La Dame will welcome up to 20 guests by reservation only.
Offering 270-degree views of the destination from the ship’s aft on deck five, with a mezzanine on deck six, The Grill is Silver Endeavour’s casual eatery. Located adjacent to the pool deck, The Grill features an a la carte menu of international dishes, welcoming up to 80 guests for breakfast and lunch and up to 48 guests for dinner.
In addition, Arts Café, Silversea's take on a classic coffee shop, will serve an extensive collection of speciality coffees and teas, as well fresh pastries and gourmet bites throughout the day.
Built to PC6 polar class specifications, Silver Endeavour is designed for polar exploration and carries state-of-the-art amenities and cutting-edge navigation and exploration technology.
