Silversea reveals Silver Endeavour’s debut programme

The new programme features 12 voyages to Antarctica

Silversea Cruises has released recently-acquired Silver Endeavour’s debut programme featuring 12 voyages to Antarctica.

The itineraries, starting from 21 November 2022, last between five and 20 days and include the line’s Antarctica Bridge fly-cruise sailings, an extended ‘Deep South’ expedition voyage and a 10-day Antarctica Peninsula voyage. Every voyage was previously due to be operated by Silver Explorer.

Antarctica Bridge
Endeavour’s maiden voyage will be the first of 10 Antarctica Bridge fly-cruise sailings, offering the most direct route to Antarctica. Prices for the departure start from US$19,895.

The fly-cruise sailings will allow passengers to skip the Drake Passage and fly directly to King George Island in business class. The voyages will range from between five and nine days.

Conrad Combrink, Silversea’s senior vice president for expeditions, destination and itinerary management, will join passengers on the inaugural voyage in November.

Deep South
The 20-day round-trip Deep South sailing, departing from Puerto Williams, Chile, on 12 February 2023, will head to the South Shetland Islands and is priced from US$34,163.

Antarctic Peninsula
The new Antarctic Peninsula voyage, departing from Puerto Williams on 4 March 2023, spends six days “exploring” the peninsula. The lead-in price is US$12,812.

During its debut programme 20 expedition experts – including marine biologists, historians, naturalists and archaeologists – will be on Silver Endeavour (pictured), which was acquired earlier this year from relaunched line Crystal Cruises.

President Roberto Martinoli said: “Silver Endeavour will unlock some of the planet’s most remote and extreme destinations, welcoming guests in Silversea’s trademark level of comfort.

“With state-of-the-art technology, one of the highest ice-class ratings of any expedition cruise ship, and industry-leading Zodiac- and expert-to-guest ratios, our newest ship will offer a uniquely immersive expedition experience to our well-travelled guests.”
