Swan Hellenic announces new elevated culinary experiences

Passengers can expect fine dining with guest chefs and gourmet shore excursions

Swan Hellenic has announced its partnership with JRE-Jeunes Restaurateurs to create Maris, a dining experience lead by the organisation’s world-renowned chefs.

Maris will bring a selection of JRE chefs aboard for a series of cultural expedition cruises on Swan Hellenic’s designer ships, SH Vega and SH Diana. 

Serving a different signature dish every night, the JRE chef will also put on a cooking show and lead gastronomic excursions ashore to explore the local culinary traditions, such as hunting, fishing, farming and foraging. As part of the partnership, JRE chefs will also share their insights at onboard lectures.

The official launch will be celebrated with a gala dinner aboard SH Diana as part of her christening ceremony events in Amsterdam on Thursday 4 May 2023. Three JRE-Jeunes restaurateurs chefs will showcase the extraordinary creative variety of Maris gastronomy to mark the occasion: Edwin Soumang (Restaurant One, The Netherlands), Daniel Canzian (Ristorante Daniel Canzian, Italy), and Michael Ammon (Gasthof Jakob, Germany).
