Accor to open Mercure Telavi Resort in Georgia

The four-star hotel is scheduled to open in the Kakheti region in 2024

Accor has signed a cooperation agreement with TT Group to open the Mercure Telavi Resort in Georgia. 

Due to open in 2024, the hotel will occupy a new four-storey building in Ruispiri Village in Telavi, in the Kakheti region, at an altitude of 615 metres above sea level. 

The property will comprise 124 rooms along with wellness, dining and meeting facilities.

Telavi, the main city of Kakheti, is home to numerous vineyards and is considered the centre of Georgian winemaking. 

The biodynamic Ruispiri winery is located within walking distance from the hotel and offers tastings of famous Georgian wines and local farm products.

The hotel is surrounded by historic churches and the famed Ikalto Monastery located a 10-minute drive away.

The hotel is within a 15-minute drive of the centre of Telavi and 25 minutes from Telavi Airport.
