Arabia Taxi adds 269 Teslas to its Dubai fleet

The move is part of the company's ongoing sustainability strategy

Arabia Taxi LLC – Dubai has announced the signing of an agreement with Tesla Motors Dubai. 

In line with the strategy of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), the partners will convert all taxis in the emirate into fully environmentally friendly (hybrid, electric and hydrogen) vehicles by 2027. As part of the deal, Arabia Taxi has added 269 Tesla Model 3 cars to its existing 6,000-vehicle fleet.

The move is another step towards converting the entire taxi fleet to a fully electric one.

The company has already made significant progress in this field, with 83% of the cars in the fleet currently operating with environmentally friendly hybrid engine technology.
