Jeddah hotels top pre-pandemic performance in November

Average daily rate (ADR) reached US$156

According to newly released data by STR, a global provider of analytics for the hospitality industry, Jeddah’s hotel performance during November 2022 surpassed pre-pandemic comparable data.

Although overall performance was lower than the figures achieved in October, the sector recorded an occupancy rate of 55%. Average daily rate (ADR) reached SAR587 (US$156), while revenue per available room (RevPAR) touched SAR320 (US$85) during the month.

The market’s occupancy level was its lowest since April 2022, while ADR and RevPAR were the lowest since February 2022. However, all three key performance metrics surpassed November 2019 figures with occupancy increasing by 16%, ADR by 13% and RevPAR by 31%.

With regards to November’s daily data, the highest occupancy level of 75% was recorded on Wednesday 30 November, the only day of the month that the metric came in above 70%.
