Package includes complimentary seaplane transfers and flexible cancellations
Diamonds Hotels & Resorts has launched a new offer aimed at GCC region residents across two properties: Diamonds Athuruga and Diamonds Thudufushi.
The group’s GCC Exclusive Maldives Escape deal include seaplane transfers, curated island activities, and flexible cancellation up to seven days before check-in for stays of a week or longer.
Located within the South Ari Atoll, Diamonds’ five‑star resorts provide all‑inclusive stays at a mix of beachfront and overwater villas. Dining options span international and Maldivian cuisines, from teppanyaki to local beach grills. Visitors can expect rates from US$300 per night across both resorts.
Families can also take advantage of half-price savings on select water excursions for children. Key experiences across both resorts include sunset snorkelling, sailing lessons and coral reef explorations.

The offer is valid on bookings and stays up until 31 July 2026, with reservations available via the hotel’s website. Rates vary by villa category, with a minimum seven-night stay required.
As the Maldives’ hospitality groups respond to travel disruption caused by the Israel-Iran war with more affordable and flexible offers, the government is supporting international travellers affected by flight cancellations and airspace restrictions in the Middle East through temporary visa relief measures.
Meanwhile, boutique Maldivian airline Beond is increasing frequencies from Malé to Milan, Zurich and Munich. The carrier also plans to launch new routes to London and Paris in December 2026, expanding its capacity to increase international arrivals to the Maldives.
