Morocco’s first Waldorf Astoria to open in Tangier

Part of Hilton’s luxury portfolio, the property will welcome guests in 2025

Hilton has signed an agreement with Star Hill Tangier SA to open Waldorf Astoria Tangier.

The property will mark the debut of Hilton's luxury Waldorf Astoria brand in Morocco.

Surrounded by lush greenery, Waldorf Astoria Tangier is located close to the northwest coast of the country, in close proximity to the Cape Spartel Reserve, making it a convenient base to explore the historic Caves of Hercules. Other highlights include views of the Mediterranean and Atlantic.

Waldorf Astoria Tangier will feature 115 modern guest rooms and suites, including 21 villas with private pools and a 1,250-square-metre Royal Villa. In addition, the resort's 3,000-square-metre luxury spa is anticipated to be the largest holistic wellness destination in the country.


The resort will be home to five restaurants, including Peacock Alley, synonymous with the Waldorf Astoria brand as a place to see and be seen over social dining rituals such as afternoon tea.
