Qatar Airways launches Doha-AlUla route

The airline now serves 10 destinations in Saudi Arabia

Qatar Airways has flown its inaugural journey to AlUla in Saudi Arabia. 

To mark the launch, a VIP delegation travelled to AlUla to experience its blend of history, culture and luxury. 

The delegation included His Excellency Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani, Minister of Culture of the State of Qatar and His Highness Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al-Saud, Minister of Culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as Qatar Airways Group CEO Engr Badr Mohammed Al-Meer.

Doha-AlUla flights will operate twice a week on Sunday (outbound on flight QR1202 departing at 07:35, arriving at 10:15, and inbound on flight QR1203 departing at 11:45 and arriving at 13:55) and Friday (outbound on flight QR1202 departing at 07:30, arriving at 10:10 and inbound on flight QR1203 departing at 12:15 and arriving at 14:25).
