Rotana to add Egypt-based property to portfolio

The new five-star resort will add 319 rooms to brand’s existing 18,565 keys in the region

Rotana is to continue its expansion across the Middle East and North Africa, adding to its luxury portfolio with the Luxor Rotana scheduled to open in Egypt in Q4 2023.

Rotana is one of the leading hotel management companies in the region with over 100 properties across the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe and Turkey.

The new property will cater to leisure and business travellers and will be in close proximity to Luxor’s ancient ruins including monuments, tombs and temples. Set on the Nile and offering river views and more than 18,000 sq m of gardens, the 319-room property will “integrate modern architecture with authentic designs”.

Guests will have access to a wide selection of food and beverage options from four outlets including a lobby lounge, an all-day dining restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, a bar, and Kamoon, a popular Rotana-developed restaurant with views over the gardens and Nile river.
