The flights between Muscat and the Thai capital will operate three times a week from 18 December
Oman’s low-cost carrier SalamAir will launch direct flights between Muscat and Bangkok next month.
Starting on 18 December, flights from Muscat will depart on Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays, while return flights from Bangkok are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
The launch of the Bangkok route marks the airline’s second destination in Thailand after Phuket. Travellers wanting to see more of the country can choose to fly into Phuket and out of Bangkok or vice versa.

The airline said the new route also marks an expansion into Southeast Asia in response to growing demand from holidaymakers as well as those travelling for medical tourism.

The carrier operates six A320neo and four A321neo aircraft and direct flights between Muscat and Bangkok will have a duration of six hours.
