The low-cost carrier will operate twice-weekly flights between the cities from October
Flynas has announced the launch of direct flights between AlUla, in the northwest of Saudi Arabia and Cairo, starting from 6 October 2022.
The airline will connect the cities via two weekly direct flights, scheduled on Thursday and Saturday, from AlUla International Airport in Saudi Arabia to Cairo International Airport in Egypt.
Known for its historical, natural and geographical significance, with archaeological finds from the Dadanite, Nabataean, Roman and old Islamic civilisations, AlUla is commonly referred to as an open-air museum and is home to Saudi Arabia's first UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hegra.
In line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 AlUla is being introduced to the world as a must-visit destination
A significant amount of investment in AlUla in recent years means that it now offers high quality accommodations nestled in the striking landscape.
Flynas recently announced the resumption of its flights from AlUla to Riyadh and Dammam in Saudi Arabia, and Dubai in the UAE, with twice-weekly flights servicing each destination.
The airline was the first to launch international scheduled flights to AlUla from Dubai back in November 2021 and currently connects more than 70 domestic and international destinations through its fleet of more than 35 aircraft.
