The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort unveils refurbished rooms

The club lounge also has a new look

The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina has completed a large-scale refurbishment of its rooms and suites.

With a total of 294 rooms across 15 categories, including Deluxe Rooms, Club Rooms, the Deluxe Suite, Westin Club Suite, Family Suite, Penthouse, Luxury Suite and the Presidential Suite, the hotel has a more elegant and modern aesthetic.

State-of-the-art climate control systems from Schneider, the fully stocked Terim fridges and bottles of still and sparkling BE WTR from the hotel’s on-site water bottle plant complete the look.

The extensive renovation was overseen by design agency Stickman Tribe and took three years. Stickman Tribe Founder Marcos Cain said: “The brief was to bring life and atmosphere back into the spaces, cultivating a timeless guest experience while also creating a sense of fun. The [aim] was to feel luxurious and elevated in a resort environment where tourists and locals can meet, reside and play."

Deluxe Suite

For the suites, characters Penelope and George were created as design inspiration. For the Penelope look, neutral hues, curved lines and patterns create a feminine ambiance, while the George look emulates classic luxury a with retro high-end feel delivered through folded collar-like headboards in rich leather and modern wing-back chairs.

Cain continued: “The masculine master of the manor, 'George', exudes effortless luxury by embodying classical details in a contemporary form, with a rich, yet natural palette capturing a fine balance of both resort and residential feel, while the heir to the throne, Penelope, features killer curves, daring patterns and a quirky overall palette with various discrete details giving the room a sense of timeless luxury.”

Club Lounge

Along with the renovation of rooms and suites, the Westin Club Lounge has also undergone an upgrade, and a glass neonatal-style winter garden has been added.
