Wego adds country directory of Covid-19 requirements to app

The platform’s ‘Travel Advisory’ tool aims to ease post-pandemic travel planning

The Wego app has launched a new travel feature called ‘Travel Advisory’. It’s a comprehensive tool that helps Wego users see destinations that they can visit, based on factors including their country of origin and vaccination status.

Users will see a ‘Destinations Open For Travel’ carousel on the homepage, highlighting some of the countries that are open to them. For a full list of countries open for travel, users can hit the ‘Check all Destinations’ option. There’s also a search feature for each country’s quarantine and Covid-19 test requirements, making this is a useful tool for anyone planning a holiday.

When the users have decided on the country they’d like to visit, they can delve into the details of the entry requirements for each city. Entry requirements are updated daily, ensuring the latest information is available.

Once a flight has been booked, the detailed entry requirements of the destination are also integrated into the users’ journey, showing up on the flight search results page.
