Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours has announced that Scenic Eclipse will embark on an expanded range of new in-depth Expedition Voyages across the seventh continent.

Departing in 2023 and 2024, these additional voyages will allow more time at the Antarctic Peninsula, South Georgia, the Weddell Sea and Chilean Fjords, with further exploration of smaller islands and more wildlife encounters.

The 20-strong expert Discovery Team will be on hand to provide guests with insight into the wildlife and landscape, leading guests through kayak excursions, nature walks and Zodiac tours with multiple landings each day. 

In addition, guests can explore using Scenic’s two state-of-the-art helicopters and a custom-built submarine.

14-Day Antarctica, Scenic Eclipse
Recommended for: First-time expedition cruisers
What the brochure says: Join a 14-day expedition voyage round-trip from Buenos Aires, Argentina. After overnighting in Buenos Aires, board a flight to Ushuaia, the most southern city in the world, to be welcomed by the team on board Scenic Eclipse. Set sail and cruise through the Beagle Channel and admire the views of the Andean Mountains of Tierra del Fuego from the comfort of your private verandah. The week that follows will be spent exploring the Antarctic Peninsula. An expert captain and crew will navigate some of the most beautiful waterways, which may include traversing the stunning 11km-long Lemaire Channel.
