2 new Crowne Plaza hotels to open in Cairo

Agreement with developers signals expansion of IHG’s premium brand in Egypt

IHG Hotels & Resorts is to open two Crowne Plaza hotels in Cairo. 

The Crowne Plaza Cairo New Administrative Capital and the Crowne Plaza New Cairo Yellow are set to open in 2028. Both hotels are new-build projects. 

Crowne Plaza Cairo New Administrative Capital is located in the capital’s Levels Towers, within Cairo’s New Administrative Capital conurbation. It will have three restaurants, including a sky bar, and five corporate meeting spaces.

Crowne Plaza New Cairo Yellow will be located within the Yellow area, in the New Cairo district. It will have an all-day dining restaurant, a Club Lounge and five meeting and events spaces, including a ballroom.

The openings follow an agreement between IHG Hotels & Resorts and Urbnlanes Development Company (pictured), the real estate developers behind Levels Tower and Yellow.
