Abu Dhabi reveals new tourism campaign

The move comes as the UAE capital drops all Covid-19 PCR test requirements

The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi has unveiled its latest campaign to promote tourism. The campaign aligns with the end of Covid-19 restrictions in Abu Dhabi, which came into effect from 6am on Monday 7 November 2022. 

Called 'Experience Abu Dhabi. Find Your Pace', the campaign packs in a variety of experiences and attractions available in the capital into a three-minute-40-second video commercial (VC). 

The full-length VC features cultural attractions, such as Louvre Abu Dhabi (pictured) and Qasr Al Hosn, an 18th-century stone building, located in the heart of the city, containing House of Artisans celebrating Emirati heritage and craftsmanship.

Visitors are seen enjoying typical Abu Dhabi activities from dune bashing to sand surfing. Glamping at Jebel Hafit Desert Park and strolling through the shaded oasis pathways in the garden city of Al Ain are also featured, as well as the sun-kissed beaches of Saadiyat Island, the wildlife safari on Sir Bani Yas Island and the tranquil desert landscape of the Empty Quarter.

Abu Dhabi's theme parks – including the world’s largest indoor theme park,Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi on Yas Island, the Yas Marina F1 Circuit, indoor climbing wall CLYMB and Ferrari World Abu Dhabi – also take a starring role.

In addition to the 'Experience Abu Dhabi. Find Your Pace' campaign, Abu Dhabi aims to attract tourists with its impressive calendar of events. 

Abu Dhabi recently held the first-ever NBA games in the region, as well as sold-out UFC and WBA boxing title fights and the Middle East debut of Disney’s The Lion King and Disney on Ice.

In future, visitors can look forward performances by Andrea Bocelli, Post Malone, Imagine Dragons, Blackpink, Sting, John Legend, Kendrick Lamar, Swedish House Mafia and Usher, and Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix.
