“The new Sofitel Madinah is set to become the ultimate choice for travellers, including those partaking in the annual Islamic pilgrimage, that are looking for luxurious hospitality while being strategically located, minutes away from holy landmarks.”

A partnership with Waqf Sheikh Abdul Bari Al Shawi, the hotel ownership is part of a joint charitable entity that donates a portion of its annual profit to treat patients in Madinah.

Owner representative Sheikh Hamza Al Shawi added: “The agreement reinforces and advances the humanitarian message the Waqf stands for. We could not think of a better group to collaborate with than Accor and look forward to a successful partnership in the coming years.”
