Dubai named Tripadvisor’s most popular destination for third consecutive year

Rankings based on user ratings and reviews 

For the third year running, Dubai has been ranked as the most popular destination in the world in the Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Awards.

The winners are determined based on the quality and quantity of reviews and ratings specific to several award subcategories from travellers on Tripadvisor spanning accommodation, restaurants and things to do in the destination between October 2022 and September 2023.

According to Tripadvisor, third-time winner Dubai remains popular due to its diverse offering of modern culture, history, luxury, retail and entertainment.

Bali in Indonesia came second with UK capital London in third place, retaining its crown as Europe's top destination.
