Hyatt’s luxury Andaz brand to debut in Qatar

The opening will mark the fourth Hyatt property in Qatar

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a management agreement with Al Mirqab Tourist Company LLC to open the first Andaz-branded hotel in Qatar. 

Comprising 318 rooms, Andaz Doha is expected to open in the autumn of next year, just in time to welcome the expected influx of visiting spectators for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Andaz, Hyatt’s brand of luxury lifestyle hotels, aims to offer guests local experiences. The brand takes its name from the Hindi word for “personal style”, and every Andaz property aims to reflect the culture that surrounds it through its food and design.

Offering sea views and four dining concepts, Andaz Doha will be located in the West Bay area of Doha, among government institutions and within close proximity to a mix of restaurants, residences and retail outlets.

The hotel will add to Hyatt’s existing portfolio of properties in Qatar; joining Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha, Park Hyatt Doha and Grand Hyatt Doha Hotels and Villas, reinforcing Hyatt’s commitment to growth.
