Kimpton to debut in UAE in 2026

Brand’s second hotel in Middle East to open in Business Bay in Dubai

IHG is set to open a Kimpton hotel in Dubai, marking the luxury lifestyle brand’s debut in the UAE and second property in the Middle East.

Known for its boutique charm and experience-driven hospitality, design-led Kimpton’s entry into the UAE follows Saudi, with Kimpton KAFD Riyadh set to debut in 2025.

Scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2026, Kimpton Dubai will bring 280 rooms to the city’s Business Bay district, just minutes from the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall.

Overlooking the canal, the property will also offer three dining venues, a fitness centre and a rooftop swimming pool, as well as boutiques and seven meeting spaces, including a ballroom.

IHG purchased Kimpton just over a decade ago and has been gradually expanding the brand beyond its US roots, and today has more than 75 Kimpton hotels in 55 cities worldwide.

The most recent opening, Kimpton Main Frankfurt, marks the brand’s debut in Germany, while upcoming Kimpton KAFD Riyadh in Saudi will become Kimpton’s first property in the Middle East.

Set within a mixed-use business and lifestyle destination in the heart of Riyadh, 22km from the airport, the hotel will offer 200 rooms and suites, five dining destinations, a health club, swimming pool and outdoor amphitheatre terrace.
