Florian Van Der Bellen will be tasked with expanding the international tourism consulting arm of the business

PKF Hospitality Group, a hospitality and tourism consulting firm, has appointed Florian Van der Bellen as the head of Destination Development for the PKF tourism experts division.

In the region, PKF hospitality group has provided advisory support for destination development in Abu Dhabi in the UAE and Yenkit in Oman, and has managed more than 1,000 consulting projects in more than 70 countries in the hotel industry.

Van der Bellen studied at the Tourism College in Innsbruck and at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration (WU Wien) and most recently ran his own company in the field of tourism consulting in Austria, Romania and Georgia, among other countries.

Prior to his tourism career, Van der Bellen served as hotel manager at various four- and five-star hotels in Austria, Germany and Australia.
