Private vehicles can no longer access arrivals forecourt at DXB Terminal 1

Only public transport and authorised vehicles will be permitted

Dubai Airports has announced a change for arriving passengers and those waiting to collect them at the international airport’s Terminal 1, with private vehicles no longer granted access.

The change was made to reduce vehicle congestion caused by an increase in overall passenger traffic. Traffic at DXB has reached 96% of 2019 levels with passenger numbers exceeding 21.2 million in the first quarter of the year, according to passenger data revealed earlier this month.
