Thailand launches TAGTHAi Pass to boost tourism industry

The country’s tourism authority worked with five Thai corporations to launch the pass

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched the TAGTHAi Pass, a Thai digital travel pass to bolster Thailand’s tourism industry.

The travel pass was launched with the support of corporations including AIS, TRUE, Kasikorn Bank, ThaiBev and Dusit Thani.

The travel pass provides an added sales and distribution channel to create more opportunities for tourism operators to earn income by gaining more access to international travellers while also providing travellers with a convenient tool when travelling in Thailand.

Travellers can access the pass from the TAGTHAi application, which is available on both iOS and Android. The app is a one-stop tourism service platform for travelling in Thailand, providing travellers with the travel pass, travel tips and emergency contact service.

The TAGTHAi Pass also allows tourists to redeem offers and access a variety of services including local recommendations, attractions, restaurants, spas, activities and more.
