Mimi Kakushi and Galaxy Bar represent the Middle East on renowned list

The annual list of The World’s 50 Best Bars was unveiled at an awards ceremony in Singapore on Tuesday 17 October 2023.

Located at Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach, Rikas Group's Mimi Kakushi entered the list at number 40 – also earning the title, 'The Best Bar in The Middle East and Africa' – followed by Tashas Group's Galaxy Bar in DIFC, which landed at number 50.

Galaxy Bar celebrates its third year on the list, coming in at number 45 in the past two years, and earlier this month, it was announced the Dubai-based Ergo made it on to the extended list at number 69.

Galaxy Bar founder and CEO Natasha Sideris said: "The World’s 50 Best is a phenomenal organisation. Held in Asia for the first time in its history, the ceremony celebrated the excellence of the international hospitality beverage sector, paying tribute to the bar owners and mixologists shaping cocktail culture around the world.

The World’s 50 Best Bars 2023 features bars from 28 cities, with Barcelona’s Sips crowned The World’s Best Bar.
