The home-working travel group's sales exceeded US$9 million in one day

In January 2024, Travel Counsellors achieved its biggest-ever booking on its best-ever sales day, during the best-ever week of sales in the company’s history.

The record-breaking treble came on Friday 12 January, as the home-working group totalled sales of US$9.6, marking the first time it had exceeded US$8.9 in one day. Among the sales was an individual booking of more than US$1.5 million.

This topped the previous best sales day record of US$8.2 million, set during the peaks period on the final day of January in 2023.

The record-breaking sales day came in a week where Travel Counsellors agents made a record-breaking 8,814 individual bookings, grossing US$39.5 total weekly sales – also the biggest in company history.

Global sales director at Travel Counsellors Jim Eastwood (pictured) said: “We are so delighted that so many leisure customers and corporate clients place their trust in our amazing travel counsellors to book their travel.
