Famed Ristorante L’Olivo will take up residence at Al Mahara
L‘Olivo, the only two Michelin-starred restaurant on the island of Capri, located at Capri Palace Jumeirah is launching at sister property Burj Al Arab Jumeirah hotel in Dubai.
Ristorante L’Olivo will bring Mediterranean flavours and innovative dishes to Al Mahara, curated by Capri Palace Jumeirah’s acclaimed executive chef Andrea Migliaccio.
A native of the island of Ischia, located just northwest of Capri in Italy, Migliaccio was surrounded by the very best Mediterranean ingredients from an early age. At Ristorante L’Olivo at Al Mahara, he is reinterpreting “his gastronomic traditions in an evolved fashion”, in the unique setting alongside Al Mahara’s coral reef aquarium.
Speaking about his new venture, Migliaccio said: “The menu at Ristorante L’Olivo is inspired by simple principles. I want to share an intense journey of authentic flavours from Capri and the Mediterranean, where I grew up.”
Ristorante L’Olivo at Al Mahara offers diners in Dubai the chance to sample the signature flavours of its counterpart at Capri Palace Jumeirah. From black cod served with spinach and sun-dried tomatoes and finished with coffee and liquorice, to tagliolini paired with tuna tartare, bottarga and zucchini.
