Wasl to launch four new hotels in Dubai

The developer currently has a portfolio of 6,885 keys across 28 hotels

Wasl Hospitality and Leisure, a subsidiary of Wasl Asset Management Group, has announced that it will open four new hotels in Dubai.

Construction at Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai is 98% complete and the property is expected to open by 15 December 2021. The 173-key property, being developed close to La Mer Beach, includes 125 king-size rooms, 26 VIP rooms, 18 twin rooms, three rooms adapted for people of determination and one VIP suite.

Wasl hospitality is also developing a new hotel in Al Sufouh, featuring 318 rooms, which will be operated by Marriott International. Construction on the 30-floor skyscraper is around 86% complete and it’s expected to open by Q1 2022.

The remaining properties under development are Aloft Dubai Airport, which comprises 230 rooms, and Element Dubai Airport, which features 89 furnished apartments. Both hotels are expected to launch in the coming months.

According to the latest data, at the end of July 2021, Dubai’s hotel inventory stood at 718 properties comprising 129,318 rooms with a RevPAR of AED225, up from AED194 during the same period in 2020.
