Jordanian football fan the first to receive the new visa
Dubai's General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) has issued the first 90-day multiple-entry tourist visa for Hayya cardholders travelling via Dubai to Doha for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The move is in line with the UAE's support for Qatar in holding the FIFA World Cup. Dubai will host visitors heading to the event, allowing them to enter and leave the UAE as they shuttle back and forth between Dubai and Doha multiple times during the tournament to watch the matches.

A percentage of football fans are expected to prolong their stays beyond the World Cup in order to enjoy festive and New Year's Eve celebrations in Dubai, which includes a performance by Kylie Minogue at Atlantis, The Palm.
