England's landmark hotel is attracting luxury travellers from across the globe
Following the landmark renovation of The Old War Office (OWO), Princess Anne, the UK's Princess Royal and sister of King Charles III, has officially unveiled the plaque for The OWO at the hotel's launch.
One of London's most exciting hotel openings of the century, Raffles London at The OWO, as it is officially known, has been developed in partnership between the Hinduja Group and French multinational hospitality group Accor.
Originally built in 1906, The OWO opened its doors as a luxury hotel in London on 29 September 2023. The launch event showcased the food of acclaimed chef Mauro Colagreco, the chef partner for The OWO.
Sanjay Hinduja, who oversaw the project said: “When we came to Whitehall, the team were blown away by the size and beauty of this majestic building. No expense has been spared in bringing it back to its former glory and paying homage to its heritage, while breathing new life into it. Along with Raffles London at The OWO, we hope to create a legacy that is both timeless and unsurpassed."
The OWO houses 85 Residences by Raffles, nine new restaurants and three bars, including a rooftop lounge with views of Buckingham Palace.
