The event has proved popular with tour operators creating family-friendly Halloween itineraries
Aimed at those looking to celebrate Halloween in style, luxury desert retreat Sonara Camp has announced that its infamously spooky celebrations will return on Saturday 29 October.
For one night only, Sonara’s sandy dunes will be transformed into a 'spooktacular' spectacle for all the family.
Now in its third year, the event has proved popular and is worth considering if you're building a family-friendly travel itinerary for those visiting Dubai during Halloween.
Dressing up is encouraged and kids will be taken on a camel 'trick or treat' trek into the desert where they will be met by ghosts and ghouls who will trick them with a surprise or treat them to goodies.

There will be live shows, a cupcake decorating station, spooky face painting and scary movies to enjoy alongside an al fresco buffet.
Set high upon a sand dune within the Dubai Conservation Area, Sonara Camp offers unspoilt sunset views over the Arabian desert, so while the kids play, parents can appreciate the peaceful surroundings.
