Emerald Zanzibar Resort & Spa opens

The Emerald brand offers 'Deluxe All-inclusive' packages

Emerald Zanzibar Resort & Spa, by The Emerald Collection, has opened its doors to guests.

The property is the latest addition to the luxury hospitality group portfolio, known for its 'Deluxe All-Inclusive' formula in the Maldives. The opening marks The Emerald Collection’s African debut.

Located on the north-east coast of the island in the Muyuni area, the new resort is perched between the coastline and acres of tropical jungle directly in front of Mnemba island.

Situated within 10 hectares of land sloping towards the sea, Emerald Zanzibar Resort & Spa is surrounded by an oval reef that has been declared a marine conservation area.

Like all resorts in The Emerald Collection, guests at Emerald Zanzibar will experience an elevated take on an all-inclusive concept that includes gourmet a la carte dining, luxury international wines, beers and spirits, access to unlimited non-motorised water sports activities and Emerald Spa's Thai and Balinese treatments.

The property is also home to a sports centre with tennis and padel courts, an indoor gym equipped with Technogym machines and one of the largest kids' clubs in Zanzibar.

This is an essential project for The Emerald Collection, in which we have invested tens of millions of euros to build a new resort in line with the standards of excellence of the brand.

"The property is the ideal starting point for guests looking to discover an incredible natural coral reef, just as beautiful as that of the Maldives, and the natural park on Mnemba Island."
